What's DELIOS?

[SUPER DELIOS]	"SUPER DELIOS" is a portable water filter that can quickly produce safe and clean water by simply squeezing the container connected to the filter. Safe and clean water is produced from various water sources; tap water, river water, well water, rain water and so on. This water can be used for drinking, cleaning wounds and so on.

High precision hollow fiber filter

The high precision hollow fiber filter is a very reliable material that is used in the medical field and in the industry to produce bacteria-free water.

The filter utilizes numerous piled layers of thin hollow Poly Ether Sulphone pipes, with a pore size of 0.2 micron.

The filter removes bacillus, mold and dirt out of water as it passes from outside to inside of the pipes to make safe drinking water.

Reliable dual-structure design

"Fibrous Activated Carbon" removes sediment and disagreeable odors in the first stage. It absorbs much faster than the ordinary type of activated carbon.

Then, "Hollow Fiber Filter" removes poisonous bacteria (e.g. E-COLI, COLIBACILLUS, SALMONELLA, CRYPTOSPORDIUM, GIARDIA, CHOLERA, DYSENTERY), mold, and contaminated materials.

It's why DELIOS can produce clean and safe drinking water.

Nagara River is famous as one of the clearest rivers in Japan. We requested Gifu Research Center for Public Health to test the water quality in Nagara River.

Attentions

When a filter becomes clogged, replace old filter with new one.

If a filter becomes clogged and filtered water does not come out smoothly, replace the filter with new one (You can purchase "DELIOS-E").

SUPER DELIOS can be used repeatedly. One SUPER DELIOS unit can filter about 200 liters of tap water (the exact amount depends upon the source of water). This means that you can use SUPER DELIOS about 660 times.

DELIOS can not be used for poisonous materials dissolved in the water

The filter we use can remove germs, mold and other microbes which are difficult to detect even with an optical microscope. However, the filter cannot remove water-dissolved materials. This includes salt in sea water, and poisonous organic and chemical materials which may be dissolved in the water. Some poisonous organic materials can be absorbed by the fibrous activated carbon, but others cannot. From the above view point, SUPER DELIOS can not be used for poisonous materials dissolved in the water.

Fish living in the water indicates that the river or lake is not contaminated by water-dissolved poisonous materials. On the other hand, such river or lake water where there are no fish may have too much acidity because of the acid materials dissolved in the water. Or, poisonous materials may be dissolved in the water. Please do not use DELIOS in such cases.

Don't filter beverages such as milk, juice or coffee.

It takes away the tastes and the colors, and it may clog the filter, so there would be no advantage to doing so.
